Berättarperspektivet

Berättarperspektivet, often translated as narrative perspective or point of view, refers to the way a story is told and who is telling it. It dictates what information the reader receives and how they perceive the events and characters.

The most common narrative perspectives are first-person, second-person, and third-person. In a first-person narrative, the story is told by a character within the story, using pronouns like "I" and "we". This allows for an intimate and subjective view of events, but limits the reader's knowledge to what the narrator experiences or knows.

Second-person narration, using "you", directly addresses the reader, making them a participant or observer in the story. This is less common in fiction but can be found in instructional texts or experimental literature.

Third-person narration uses pronouns like "he", "she", "it", and "they". This can be further divided into omniscient and limited perspectives. Third-person omniscient allows the narrator to know the thoughts and feelings of all characters, as well as events happening outside the characters' awareness. Third-person limited focuses on the thoughts and experiences of a single character, providing a more focused view while still maintaining a degree of objectivity.
