Belasitsa

Belasitsa is a mountain range in the Balkans, straddling the border between Bulgaria and Greece. Its highest peak, Kalabak, reaches 2,031 meters above sea level. Several marked trails traverse the mountain, offering visitors opportunities to experience its natural beauty and historical significance. The region is also home to several protected areas, aimed at conserving its ecological richness. The climate on Belasitsa is continental, with cold, snowy winters and warm summers.
