Beetzendorf

Beetzendorf is a municipality in the district of Uelzen, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 10 kilometers northwest of Uelzen.

The municipality comprises the villages of Beetzendorf, Erxleben, Hohenbostel, and Klein Beerenstedt. As of the 2016 census, the population of Beetzendorf is around 1,300 residents.

The area around Beetzendorf has a history dating back to the Middle Ages. Archaeological findings suggest that the region was settled by ancient tribes, with some evidence of early agricultural activity.

As a rural municipality, Beetzendorf's economy is primarily driven by agriculture and farming. The region is known for its fertile soil, making it a suitable location for growing crops such as wheat, barley, and potatoes.
