Bakselit

Bakselit is a fictional municipality used in geographical case studies to illustrate rural–urban dynamics and local governance. It is located in a temperate, hilly region with a river valley that shapes its land use.

The name Bakselit comes from the local language, combining elements meaning bend and field, referring to a place where the river bends near farmland.
