Bagsværd

Bagsværd is a suburban district located in the Gladsaxe Municipality, approximately 12 kilometers northwest of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is situated near the western end of Bagsværd Lake, a popular recreational area. The district is primarily residential, characterized by a mix of single-family homes and apartment buildings.

Historically, Bagsværd was a rural area with farms until the late 19th and early 20th centuries when it began to develop as a residential suburb for Copenhagen.
