BOFs
BOFs, or Birds of a Feather sessions, are informal gatherings at conferences, workshops, or meetings where participants with shared interests or goals can discuss topics of mutual interest. These sessions are typically unstructured and open to anyone who wishes to participate. BOFs are often organized spontaneously by attendees or by conference organizers to address specific topics or issues that arise during the event. They provide a platform for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas outside the formal presentation structure of the main conference program. BOFs can cover a wide range of subjects, from technical discussions to social and professional development topics. The format allows for flexible and dynamic interactions, making BOFs a valuable component of many events aimed at fostering community engagement and knowledge sharing.
