Avatarits

Avatarits are a fictional species originating from the planet Pandora in James Cameron's Avatar franchise. They are tall, sapient, bipedal humanoids with a distinctive blue skin color, large eyes, and a long, prehensile tail. Their physiology is adapted to the dense atmosphere and gravity of Pandora, featuring a semi-permeable membrane for breathing and a bio-luminescent quality that allows them to glow in the dark.

The Avatarits, or Na'vi as they call themselves, live in a deep connection with their environment, forming a complex spiritual and biological bond with Pandora's ecosystem. This connection is facilitated by a neural queue, a tendril-like appendage on the back of their heads, which allows them to interface with Pandoran flora and fauna, most notably the great Direhorses and the flying Banshees.

Their society is tribal and deeply rooted in tradition, with a strong emphasis on honor, community, and reverence for Eywa, the guiding force of Pandora's biosphere, which they perceive as a deity.
