Autoklaavista
Autoklaavista is a Finnish term that refers to a type of sterilization equipment. The word itself is a combination of "auto" (meaning self or automatic) and "klaavi" (derived from autoclave). Therefore, an autoklaavista is essentially an automatic autoclave. Autoclaves are pressurized steam sterilizers used to sterilize equipment and supplies by heating them with saturated steam under pressure. This process effectively kills bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores, rendering them inactive and preventing the spread of infection.
