Proper tire inflation is crucial for vehicle safety, fuel efficiency, and tire longevity. Under-inflated tires can lead to reduced handling, increased braking distances, and premature wear. Over-inflated tires can also negatively impact handling and ride comfort, and may increase the risk of blowouts.

There are several types of autókeréknyomásmér available. Digital gauges are popular for their ease of use and precise readings, often displaying pressure in PSI (pounds per square inch), BAR, or kPa (kilopascals). Analog gauges, typically with a dial or a needle, are also common and can be quite durable.
