Arria

Arria is a Latin feminine given name and, occasionally, a surname. The best known bearer is Arria Paeta, wife of Caecina Paetus, a Roman senator of the early Empire. In Tacitus' accounts, Arria is celebrated for her stoic courage when her husband faced execution by suicide.
