Arnobia
Arnobia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, commonly known as daisies. The genus contains a few species native to the Mediterranean region and parts of Asia. Plants in the genus Arnobia are typically herbaceous perennials with a rosette of basal leaves and erect stems bearing solitary flower heads. The flower heads are composed of ray florets and disc florets, characteristic of the Asteraceae family. The ray florets are usually white or pale yellow, and the disc florets are typically yellow. These plants are often found growing in rocky or sandy soils, and in alpine or subalpine environments. Their small size and delicate appearance make them attractive ornamental plants, though they are not widely cultivated. Little specific economic or cultural significance is attributed to Arnobia in general, with most attention focused on their botanical classification and ecological roles within their native habitats. Research on Arnobia primarily concerns taxonomic studies and phylogenetic relationships within the Asteraceae family.
