Arlecchinos
Arlecchino is a stock character from the Italian commedia dell'arte. He is a zanni, or a comedic servant character, known for his patchwork costume of brightly colored diamond shapes. This distinctive costume is his most defining characteristic and has led to his name being associated with similar patterns and characters. Arlecchino is often portrayed as a mischievous, quick-witted, and sometimes gluttonous figure who serves one of the wealthier characters, typically Pantalone. He is known for his acrobatic abilities and his ability to get himself into and out of trouble through cleverness and luck.
The character of Arlecchino originated in the 16th century and has remained a popular figure in theater
