Argentyny is a fictional sovereign state in the temperate southern continent of Eldara, with a coastline on the Lumen Sea to the west and a land border with Veridia. The terrain includes the Silver Peaks, rolling plains, and river valleys; climate is generally temperate with coastal rainfall.

The name derives from argentum, the Latin word for silver, reflecting historic silver mining that helped shape early settlement and economic orientation.

Argentyny operates as a constitutional republic. The president is both head of state and government, elected to four-year terms. The legislature is bicameral, with a Senate and a Chamber of Deputies. The judiciary is independent. The country is divided into ten provinces; the capital is Veloria.

The economy is mixed, with mining (notably silver), renewable energy, agriculture, and services as major sectors. The currency is the argent, issued by the Bank of Argentyny. Veloria hosts the central financial district, and the country maintains export-oriented ports and trade agreements.
