Archabbot
An Archabbot is the abbot of an archabbey, a designation given to an abbey of particular importance, dignity, or historical significance. The title is a rank above that of a regular abbot. Archabbots typically have jurisdiction over several other abbeys and monasteries within their territory. The role carries significant spiritual and administrative responsibilities.
