Apokolips is a fictional planet appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. It is a desolate, hellish world ruled by the tyrannical New God Darkseid. The majority of Apokolips' population are slaves or soldiers, living in abject poverty and constantly exploited.

Apokolips is the antithesis of its neighboring planet, New Genesis, home to the benevolent New Gods led by Highfather. The two planets have been locked in an eternal conflict for eons, representing the cosmic struggle between order and chaos, tyranny and freedom. Apokolips serves as a frequent antagonist in the DC Universe, with its forces often clashing with Earth's heroes, particularly Superman and the Justice League. The planet's harsh environment and the extreme methods of its ruler make it a symbol of ultimate evil and oppression.
