Anódokats

Anódokats are an indigenous group living in the remote Anódoka region of the Pacific coast of Central Africa. The term "Anódokats" is derived from their self-designated name, meaning "people of the salty lands" in their native language.

The Anódokats are a highly skilled and resourceful people adapted to the harsh coastal environment. They are skilled fishermen and have developed a sophisticated system of marine husbandry, using techniques such as creating artificial reefs to increase fish stocks. Their diet consists mainly of fish, as well as other seafood caught in the region's vast arrays of marine life.
