Antitestekkel

Antitestekkel is a Hungarian term that describes laboratory or diagnostic procedures that rely on antibodies to detect, isolate, or modulate biological molecules. Antibodies are highly specific proteins produced by B lymphocytes that bind antigens with high affinity. In methods described as “antitestekkel,” antibodies serve as reagents to recognize target molecules such as proteins, pathogens, or hormones.

Common applications include immunoassays such as ELISA and Western blot, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and flow cytometry. In these techniques, samples are incubated with antibodies (primary) that bind the target, often followed by labeled secondary antibodies for signal generation or amplification. Reporters can be enzymes, fluorophores, or chemiluminescent compounds.
