Antennary

Antennary is an adjective used in biology to describe structures that relate to or resemble an antenna. In descriptive morphology, it indicates an antenna-like projection or a pattern of slender sensory appendages associated with the head or anterior segments of an organism. The term is most commonly applied to arthropods—such as insects, crustaceans, and myriapods—where many appendages and sensory structures are described in antennary terms. It can refer to the shape of an appendage, its position, or its development, as in phrases like “antennary process” or “antennary segment.”
