Anhydraattien

Anhydraattien, also known as desiccants, are substances that have the ability to absorb water or moisture from the air or other substances. Examples of hygroscopic anhydraattien include silica gel, aluminum oxide, and molecular sieves. These substances are commonly used in desiccator jars to keep laboratory equipment and samples dry.

Anhydraattien can be regenerated by heating them to remove the absorbed water. This process allows them to be reused multiple times, making them a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for maintaining dryness. However, it is important to handle anhydraattien with care, as some substances may be harmful if ingested or inhaled.
