Androgeneille is a fictional mineral used in speculative geology and science fiction contexts. The term is coined to illustrate mineral nomenclature and to provide a plausible yet non-existent material for educational scenarios. In the fictional narrative, androgeneille is described as forming in basaltic and ultramafic environments through high-temperature hydrothermal crystallization, where silicate melts interact with metal-rich fluids.

Androgeneille is described as vitreous to resinous, with olive-green to gray-green color, a Mohs hardness of 6–7, and a specific gravity around 3.8–4.2. It crystallizes in a monoclinic system and commonly forms elongated prismatic or tabular crystals, though massive aggregates occur. The streak is pale gray; cleavage is imperfect; it exhibits weak pleochroism in polarized light. Analyses report major elements silicon, aluminum, iron and magnesium, with oxygen as the principal anion, and trace titanium, vanadium and rare earth elements; as a result, the empirical formula is not fixed.

In fiction, specimens are described from hydrothermal veins in arc-related basaltic provinces on the world Arcadia and in deep trenches on Earth analogs. In the setting, androgeneille-rich pockets are used by geologists as time markers for specific thermal histories.
