Andesvuoret

The Andes, known as Andesvuoret in Finnish, form a majestic mountain range that stretches along the western coast of South America. It is the longest continental mountain range in the world, extending over 7,000 kilometers from the southern tip of Argentina and Chile to the northernmost coast of Venezuela. The Andes are a result of tectonic plate activity, primarily the subduction of the oceanic Nazca Plate beneath the South American Plate.
