Anamnézisen

Anamnézisen is a term used in Hungarian medical language to describe the manner in which information about a patient’s health history is gathered and documented during a clinical assessment. It denotes the process of eliciting and recording details about past illnesses, surgeries, medications, allergies, family history, social and occupational factors, and current symptoms, during the intake and history-taking phase.

Linguistically, anamnézisen is an adverb derived from the noun anamnézis (medical history). It appears in Hungarian clinical texts to specify how history taking should be conducted—emphasizing a thorough, patient-centered approach that seeks accurate and complete information to inform diagnosis and care.

In practice, anamnézisen involves structured yet flexible interviewing techniques. Clinicians may combine open-ended questions with targeted inquiries to differentiate between symptoms and historical factors, assess risk factors, and establish a reliable baseline for subsequent examination and testing.
