Anahtarlarm

Anahtarlarm is a type of alarm system designed to respond to changes in the state of a switch or key-operated device. In Turkish technical usage, the term refers to a switch-based alarm that monitors a contact or circuit and triggers an alert when the switch is opened, closed, or otherwise moved outside expected conditions. They are used to detect access attempts or abnormal operation in security and safety systems, as well as to protect equipment.

Operation and design: A typical anahtarlarm uses a contact sensor such as a magnetic reed switch or mechanical micro-switch wired to a controller. The controller tracks the switch state and compares it to a known or programmed baseline. On a state change indicating potential tampering or unauthorized use, the alarm is activated. Modern implementations may wire in end-of-line resistors for supervision, include tamper switches to detect enclosure opening, and support wireless transmission to a central panel or mobile app.

Variants and applications: Wired and wireless versions exist. Some designs use a momentary switch for arming/disarming, others use a latching mechanism. Common applications include door and window sensors in home security, ignition/hood or luggage sensors in vehicles, cabinets and safes, and industrial equipment protection where a machine safety interlock or limit switch triggers an alarm upon unexpected movement.

Advantages and limitations: Anahtarlarm offers simple, low-cost protection with fast response and easy integration. Limitations include potential false alarms from vibration or misalignment, dependency on power and wiring integrity, and vulnerability if the switch is bypassed or damaged.
