Anóðun
Anóðun is a Norwegian term referring to the process of anodizing, an electrochemical process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. This oxide layer is formed by an electrochemical bath. Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process that intentionally grows a thicker, more durable oxide layer than is naturally formed. The most common application is for aluminum alloys, though other metals like titanium and magnesium can also be anodized.
The primary purpose of anodizing is to improve the corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and surface hardness
The thickness and properties of the oxide layer can be controlled by varying parameters such as current
