Amyntaio
Amyntaio is a municipality in the Pella regional unit of Macedonia, Greece. It is located in the northwestern part of the region, near the border with Albania. The town of Amyntaio serves as the seat of the municipality. Historically, the area has been inhabited since antiquity, with archaeological findings suggesting settlements dating back to the Neolithic period. During the Ottoman period, the region was known for its agricultural production.
The modern municipality of Amyntaio was established in 2011 as part of the Kallikratis reform, merging the
