Amputationer
Amputationer refers to the surgical removal of a limb, such as an arm or leg, or a part of a limb. This procedure is typically performed to address severe medical conditions or injuries that cannot be treated effectively by other means. Common reasons for amputation include severe trauma, advanced peripheral artery disease, uncontrolled infection, or malignant tumors. The goal of amputation is to save the patient's life, alleviate intractable pain, or improve overall function and quality of life when a limb is unsalvageable.
