Ammóniaemisszió
Ammóniaemisszió refers to the release of ammonia (NH3) gas into the atmosphere. Ammonia is a colorless gas with a pungent odor, naturally occurring and also produced by various human activities. The primary sources of anthropogenic ammonia emissions are agricultural practices. These include the management of animal manure, such as from cattle, pigs, and poultry, where ammonia is released during storage and application to land. The use of synthetic nitrogen fertilizers in agriculture also contributes significantly, as ammonia can be volatilized from urea and other nitrogen-containing compounds.
Beyond agriculture, other sources of ammonia emissions include industrial processes, such as those in the chemical
Once in the atmosphere, ammonia plays a complex role. It can react with other atmospheric pollutants, such
