Almijara is a mountain range located in the province of Málaga, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. It forms part of the larger Penibaetic System. The highest point in the Almijara range is La Maroma, which reaches an elevation of 2,066 meters (6,778 feet). This peak is also the highest point in the entire province of Málaga.
