Allmäktigen

Allmäktigen is a Swedish term meaning "the Almighty" or "omnipotent," typically used as an epithet for God in Christian contexts. The word is the definite form of the adjective allmäktig, built from all- (meaning "all" or "entire") and mäktig ("powerful"). In Swedish liturgical and devotional language, the epithet appears in phrases addressing the divine, most commonly as Allsmäktige Gud (The Almighty God) or in similar invocations, with exact form varying by text and period.
