Allisia
Allisia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, commonly known as asters. The genus was described by Carl Linnaeus in 1753. Allisia species are native to North America, with one species found in Asia. These plants are herbaceous perennials, typically growing in clumps and producing daisy-like flowers in shades of blue, purple, pink, and white. The flowers bloom from late summer through fall, making them a popular choice for gardens.
Allisia plants are generally hardy and adaptable, thriving in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil.
