AllShare

AllShare is a media-sharing framework developed by Samsung Electronics to enable discovery, streaming, and playback of digital content across compatible devices on a home network. The system was designed to connect Samsung televisions, Blu-ray players, mobile devices, and PCs using DLNA/UPnP protocols to browse and transfer photos, music, and videos.

Features include device-to-device sharing and the ability to cast or stream media between devices within the Samsung ecosystem. AllShare also included mobile and cloud-oriented components under the AllShare brand, allowing access to media on mobile devices or through internet-connected endpoints.

The service aimed to provide seamless media integration across Samsung products, often integrated with Galaxy devices and Smart TVs, enabling easy playback without manual file transfers.

Introduced in the early 2010s, AllShare was progressively supplemented and then superseded by cloud-based services such as Samsung Link, Samsung Cloud, and later platform updates like SmartThings. By the late 2010s, the AllShare branding and related features had largely been retired in favor of newer Samsung platforms. The exact feature set varied by device and region and evolved as Samsung updated its product lineup.
