Alkuperäisvarustajilla, often abbreviated as OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), refers to companies that produce parts or systems that are then resold under another company's brand name. In the automotive industry, for example, an OEM supplier might manufacture brake pads or an engine component that is then installed in new vehicles by a major car manufacturer. These parts are designed and manufactured to meet the exact specifications of the original equipment.
