Alkalisen
Alkalisen is a term used in chemistry to describe a substance that is basic. Bases are chemical compounds that, when dissolved in water, increase the concentration of hydroxide ions (OH-). This is often achieved by donating hydroxide ions or by accepting protons (H+) from water molecules. The opposite of an alkaline substance is an acidic substance, which increases the concentration of hydrogen ions (H+) in water.
The alkalinity of a solution is typically measured using the pH scale. A pH of 7 is
Alkaline substances have a characteristic slippery feel and a bitter taste, although tasting them is not recommended
