AlTiyas

AlTiyas is a locality in western Syria, located in the Homs Governorate. It lies in the Syrian Desert near the town of Tiyas and to the west of Palmyra. The area is best known for the Tiyas Military Airbase, also called Tiyas Airport, a major air facility used by the Syrian Arab Air Force and allied forces. The airbase contains runways, hangars, and support facilities, and serves as a logistics and training hub for air operations in central Syria.
