Aktywowane

Aktywowane is the past passive participle form of the Polish verb aktywować (to activate). It functions as an adjective or as part of a predicate and describes something that has undergone activation. The form agrees with the noun in gender and number, for example aktywowane komórki (activated cells) or aktywowany proces (activated process). In everyday language and in technical writing, it is used to indicate a state produced by an activation step, whether biological, chemical, technological, or procedural.

In science and technology, aktywowane terms appear in immunology (komórki aktywowane, odpowiedzi aktywowane), chemistry and materials science (aktywacja cząsteczek, aktywacja powierzchni), and engineering (urządzenia aktywowane). In medicine, activation of immune cells or signaling pathways is described with aktywowany/aktywowane forms, for example komórki aktywowane przez stymulację.
