Aizoon

Aizoon is a genus of succulent flowering plants in the family Aizoaceae. It is native to arid regions of southern Africa and to Macaronesia, with natural occurrences in the Canary Islands. The genus comprises a small number of species that form low-growing, prostrate mats or creeping stems.
