AgricultureFocused is an international coalition of non‑governmental organizations, research institutions, and industry partners that was established in 2014 to promote sustainable and resilient agricultural systems worldwide. The coalition was created in response to growing concerns about food security, climate change, and the environmental impacts of conventional farming practices. Its founding members included groups from North America, Europe, and Asia who shared a commitment to integrating scientific research, policy development, and community outreach.

The coalition’s stated purpose is to strengthen agricultural productivity while minimizing ecological footprints. To this end, AgricultureFocused sets concise goals around climate‑smart agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and equitable access to resources for smallholder farmers. Leadership is provided by a rotating international board, and the organization operates through regional chapters that tailor initiatives to local contexts.

Core activities comprise collaborative research projects, policy advocacy campaigns, and educational workshops. AgricultureFocused funds comparative studies that evaluate the yield, carbon sequestration, and water usage of regenerative practices versus conventional methods. Policy teams work with national governments to draft legislation that incentivizes carbon‑neutral farming techniques and supports rural development. Educational programs are delivered through both in‑person seminars and online platforms, targeting students, farmers, and industry professionals.

Impact metrics indicate that since its inception AgricultureFocused has supported more than 45 research collaborations, influenced over 12 policy revisions across five countries, and facilitated training for approximately 18,000 farmers.
