Agip
Agip, an acronym for Azienda Generale Italiana Petroli, was an Italian state-owned oil company. Founded in 1926 by the Italian government, its primary objective was to explore for and produce oil and gas, both domestically and internationally. Initially, Agip focused on Italy's Po Valley, where it made significant discoveries. Over time, the company expanded its operations globally, participating in exploration and production projects across Africa, the Middle East, and South America.
