Africanize

Africanize refers to the process by which species originating from Africa establish themselves and reproduce in regions outside their native continent. This phenomenon can occur naturally through migration or be facilitated by human activities, such as trade and transportation. When an African species becomes established in a new environment, it can interact with local flora and fauna in various ways, potentially impacting ecosystems.

The introduction of African species can lead to competition with native organisms for resources like food and habitat. Some African species may outcompete native ones, leading to declines in native populations. Others might become invasive, disrupting the balance of the new ecosystem.
