Aetolians
The Aetolians were an ancient Greek people inhabiting the region of Aetolia in central Greece. Their territory was generally situated north of the Gulf of Corinth, bordered by Acarnania to the west, Thessaly to the north, and Locris to the east. Historically, Aetolia was a rugged and mountainous land, which contributed to the Aetolians developing a reputation for being fierce and warlike.
