Aethelberht
Aethelberht, also known as Æthelberht, was a significant figure in the history of the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Kent. Born around 590 AD, he was the son of Eormenric, the king of Kent. Aethelberht's reign began in 616 AD, following the death of his father, and he ruled until his own death in 616 AD, making his reign one of the shortest in English history. His reign was marked by both military success and internal strife.
Aethelberht's most notable achievement was his victory over the Mercian king Penda in the Battle of Chester
