Addetywne is a fictional town in the northern coast of the kingdom of Eldoria within the fantasy world of Ardent Vale. The name is thought to derive from an old tongue meaning “old harbor.” It is depicted as a small market town situated near where the River Neth meets the sea, with timber-framed houses clustering around a central market square.

Founded in the 12th century, Addetywne grew as a trading stop between inland towns and coastal fleets. It endured a few skirmishes in the early modern period and was rebuilt after a major flood in 1682.
