AVledningsforholdet
AVledningsforholdet is a term used in Danish and Norwegian technical literature to describe the deflection or diversion of electrical signal energy from its intended path. Literally, avledning means diversion, and forholdet means the ratio or relationship; together they denote the proportion of energy that is diverted due to parasitic elements, improper routing, shielding deficiencies, or impedance mismatches within a system. In practice, it characterizes how much of the input power, current, or signal is not delivered to the intended load but flows through unintended paths such as ground conductors, parasitic capacitances, or crosstalk channels. The concept is similar to other loss or leakage factors in RF, high-speed digital, and power systems, and is commonly expressed as a ratio or in decibels.
In RF and instrumentation contexts, AVledningsforholdet can be defined as P_diverted / P_total, or equivalently as V_diverted
Mitigation focuses on reducing diversion paths through proper impedance matching, termination, careful routing, robust shielding, clean
