ACimpedantie is a fundamental concept in alternating current (AC) electrical circuits. It represents the total opposition a circuit presents to the flow of AC current. Unlike simple resistance, which only opposes current due to energy dissipation (heat), impedance also accounts for the opposition caused by energy storage elements like inductors and capacitors.
