ACDCvirtalähteet, also known as AC/DC power supplies, are essential electronic components that convert alternating current (AC) from a mains outlet into direct current (DC) required by most electronic devices. This conversion process is fundamental to the operation of a vast array of consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and telecommunications systems.

The primary function of an ACDCvirtalähde is to transform the high-voltage AC power supplied by the grid into a stable, lower-voltage DC output. This is typically achieved through a series of stages.
