90UV

90UV is a term used in ultraviolet technology that does not designate a single, standardized product or specification. In commercial literature, it most often appears as a model name or product line used by different manufacturers for UV-related hardware and materials. The lack of a universal definition means the exact features of a 90UV device vary by supplier.

Typical implementations described under the 90UV label include UV curing lamps and UV light-emitting diode (LED) sources. These devices emit primarily in the ultraviolet spectrum, commonly in the UV-A range (around 365–405 nanometers) or nearby, and are used to initiate polymerization of inks, coatings, and resins. Many modern 90UV units use LED arrays with active cooling and controllable irradiance, offering advantages in energy efficiency and heat management relative to traditional mercury lamps.

Applications include industrial coating and printing, electronics assembly, 3D printing resins curing, and inspection and curing of adhesives. Performance claims such as irradiance, spectral output, and exposure time are device-specific and defined by the manufacturer in datasheets.
