2nd4th is an American rock band formed in 2006 in Los Angeles, California. The group is known for blending elements of rock, pop-punk, and alternative music with polished production and catchy melodies. Originally consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Chris Chasse, bassist and backing vocalist Chris Gaylor, drummer Matt Squire, and guitarist and backing vocalist Nick Martin, the band has evolved over the years with changes in lineup and musical direction.

Their debut album, *The War Within*, was released in 2008 and featured singles like "The War Within" and "I'm Not a Loser." The album included the hit single "The War Within (Revisited)" and explored themes of personal growth and resilience.
