1RADS is a location based ultra-wideband (UWB) position tracking technology developed by Bosch Sensortec. It uses a combination of time of arrival and round-trip time of flight measurements from multiple small UWB transmitters to determine the position and velocity of objects in 3D space.

The 1RADS technology uses radio waves to determine the location of objects without the need for GPS or other external signals. It works by emitting very short pulses from the UWB transmitters located at known positions, which are then reflected off the target object and received back by the transmitters.
