10regios

10regios is a fictional open-data and collaborative research platform designed to document and compare ten regional divisions, known as regios, within a hypothetical nation. It combines statistical datasets, interactive maps, and community-authored articles to support education, urban research, and cultural analysis.

Its scope centers on ten administratively distinct regions, each characterized by demographic, economic, linguistic, and cultural indicators, as well as landmarks and infrastructure features.

Development began in an international online collaboration among geographers, data scientists, and humanities scholars. The project released its first public dataset and map layer in 2019 and has since incorporated regular community updates and peer review processes.
