Älypistokke, often translated as "smart plug," is a type of electrical outlet adapter that connects to a wireless network, typically Wi-Fi. This connectivity allows users to remotely control the power supply to any device plugged into it. Through a smartphone application or voice commands via smart assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, users can turn devices on or off, set schedules, and sometimes monitor energy consumption.
